Mr & Mrs Ray

Introducing Mr & Mrs Ray… Mitchell & Ashley got engaged on their five-year anniversary. They had agreed to not get each other presents and instead spoil themselves to a nice dinner at Mason Restaurant, Newcastle. Ashley decided to break the deal and get Mitchell five presents for their five years of dating. After their romantic dinner at Mason, Mitchell had an even bigger surprise for Ashley. Instead of going home Mitchell drove to Warners Bay Foreshore, the place they had officially begun dating. It was cold and windy, and Ashley basically refused to get out of the car until finally giving in. They went for a short walk around the foreshore where Mitch got down onto one knee and popped the question. Fast forward to the 13th of July 2019… Mitchell & Ashley wed at the Figtree Restaurant, Ewingsdale. Ashley wore a Jane Hill Dress, she fell in love with the bead embroiled overlay and deep V back design. The bridesmaids wore a simple and light silver silk dress that looked great on everybody. The boys complimented the silver dresses with a light grey suit. When it came around to picking their Wedding Rings, Ashley said “I had it easy when it came to ring shopping, Mitch had done all the groundwork with Angie when he designed my engagement ring. I’m completely in love with both the engagement and wedding rings, they both suit my style and are just stunning. I still get so many comments on the pear-shaped design.” Mitchell picked a White Gold Brushed Band with a Polished indented line through the middle. The newlyweds wanted their wedding to be a ‘big party’ with all their closest friends and family. The weather was beautiful, the sun was shining and the venue looked stunning. Ashley & Mitchell said “All of the vendors went above and beyond and made the day so special for us. We were so lucky to have an amazing celebrant who made the ceremony so personal, capturing our personalities perfectly. There are some great candid shots of our guests laughing one minute and crying the next.” The evening went by so fast, but the pair managed to sneak away from the crowd and take a moment to sit near the pool and watch their guests dancing and having a blast enjoying the special night. Congratulations to Mr & Mrs Ray.
