Introducing Mr & Mrs Blackburn…
Hannah and Joseph wed on the 1st of May 2021 at Wildwood Estate in the Kangaroo Valley.
Hannah wore a beautiful light ivory colour wedding dress. The bodice included lace, lace capped sleeves and small pearl and sequin detailing. The back of the bodice was low cut with a soft sash falling across her back. She wore white, leather, platform Converse to match.
Hannah’s bridesmaid’s dresses were a colour called ‘wine’, with a neckline that came over the shoulder, with frilly detailing accompanying the neckline. From there, the dress fell to the floor, with a fine tie and knot around the waist, which finished the dress off. The bridesmaids wore black and white Vans.
The handsome groom Joseph wore tan coloured chinos, with an ivory shirt and a dusty burgundy, linen look blazer. His colourful tie matched perfectly with the natural colours of the bush setting at Wildwood, as well the bridesmaid’s dresses. Joseph personalised his outfit with green VB socks.
The groomsmen wore the same but did not have jackets, and their socks instead were white VB socks.
Hannah’s engagement ring belonged to Joseph’s grandmother. A white gold, vintage design with some wrap around detailing on the band. The bride chose a white gold wedding band with detailing to match the vintage feel of the engagement ring.
The wedding band sits perfectly against her engagement ring and allows for the diamond of the engagement ring to be the focus.
Joseph chose a simple gold band. It featured brushed detailing with a polished edge, and their wedding date engraved on the inside of the ring.
The lovely couple described the most memorable moment of their day was seeing each other at opposite ends of the aisle.
After keeping most of her outfit a secret from Joseph, Hannah was excited to see his reaction.
Another memorable moment for them was finally being announced as Mr and Mrs Blackburn. “OMG, we’re actually married!”
It was an anxious wait for the pair as bushfire devastated Kangaroo Valley and the South Coast, and then COVID made its appearance.
Despite these events, we were a couple of the lucky ones who didn’t have to change a thing.
Both of their families and guests enjoyed a wonderful weekend in Kangaroo Valley and
Surrounds, which is one of Hannah and Joseph’s favourite locations.
