Introducing the newly engaged Kane & Peta… This happy couple met when they were 15 at a school football competition for all the high schools around Tamworth during the summer, they have been inseperable ever since. The pair had organized a NYC trip to celebrate their 12-year anniversary this August. On the morning of the special day the unaware the duo decided to start the morning off with the Empire State Building and then head to Brooklyn to explore. When they got to Brooklyn, the pair were walking through the parks trying to find Washington Street to capture the iconic bridge photo between the buildings. After dinner at Grimaldi’s Pizza they walked back along the waterfront and found a beautiful park to watch the sunset. As the sun was going down the city and bridge started to light up in front of them and as they were sitting there Kane said, “Happy Anniversary, I have something for you”. He pulled out black box and asked Peta if she would marry him. Of course, she said yes, and he placed the Pear-shaped ring on her finger. They then walked along the Brooklyn Bridge watching the sunset over the entire city. Congratulations Kane & Peta!
