Introducing Mr and Mrs Strong… Andrew and Rachel wed on the 12th of May 2018. The couple celebrated their nuptials at ‘Bells at Killcare’ with a stunning ceremony and reception surrounded by friends and family.
The bride wore a classic ivory lace dress with a nude underlay and a beautiful train with beaded cap sleeves. Rachels’ dressmaker also made her custom headpiece with matching beading. Each of the bridesmaids had a totally different personality and style, so Rachel went with different colours and different dress styles for all of them. Each dress suited each bridesmaid down to a tea, and the colours coordinated perfectly.
Andrew chose a classical four-claw tapered band in White Gold engagement ring for Rachel with a hand-picked “The One” diamond. Andrew said “I loved it the moment I saw it. It is what I would describe as an engagement ring of classical appearance with a delicate focus on the diamond. Whitaker’s provided me with so much information on engagement rings and diamonds prior to purchase that I genuinely developed so much trust in them that I didn’t even consider looking at other Jewellers.”
The happy couple both agreed that choosing a most special part of their day was extremely difficult, but for Andrew, the ceremony was a beautiful and surreal experience, a moment of huge personal meaning and significance to him. “Rach and I went into the day really relaxed and we were rewarded with an amazing day.” For Rachel, giving and listening to the speeches was a truly special moment she will always treasure. “We were on such a high after the ceremony and it was just so special to have everyone that we love in the one room and to be able to soak up all the good vibes.”
The newlyweds then spent a relaxing and tranquil week in the Blue Mountains at ‘Lilianfels’ whilst enjoying fire spas, great food and cocktails. (Mocktails for Rachel and baby Strong!) Whitakers are sending big Congratulations to you both.
